No FroYo Update for the Samsung Beam

The Samsung Beam may not necessarily be among the slew of new Android handsets out in the market and to compound the people who have it, it looks like this handset will not be getting an Android 2.2 update.

This is the same phone that comes with a pico-projector and based on the number of user who have gotten the Samsung Beam, it seems that the numbers were not enough to justify making a FroYo update for it.

Altek Leo 14MP Android Smartphone Europe-bound in 2011

It looks like the Altek Leo camera phone will finally be out next year and it will initially hit Europe. This phone will run on Android 2.1 and will come with a built-in 14MP camera that has a 3X optical zoom.

Clearwire to Launch Android Superphone this December

It looks like an Android Superphone will be making its way in time for the Holidays. It will reportedly come from Clearwire and the phone will be manufactured by Samsung. The phone is rumored to be similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S and will be running on Android 2.2.
