Google Hits Back at Apple for Android Numbers

Google CEO Eric Schmidt has struck back at Apple’s Steve Jobs after being questioned on the number of Android device activations which was pegged at 200,000. Schmidt announced that the said activations do not include upgrades and that only devices with Google services were counted.

Only web-connected devices such as smartphones are accounted for where embedded and other basic devices aren’t registered.
