When Apple got the FaceTime Video chat app, it was only a matter of time before a similar app made for the Android smartphones would come out. Apparently that comes in the form of the Qik video calling app which was demonstrated between two Samsung Galaxy Tab handsets.
Qik’s software should be hitting the Android Market within a month and will be available to other Android-powered devices too, though it will only run on devices that are powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 processor, which includes Samsung’s Galaxy S line of smartphones.
