Acer is rumored to be all set to unveil a couple of new Android-based tablets but it looks like these will be temporarily shelved for now. That is unless the new Android 3.0 comes out since Acer plans to unveil the new tablets if and only if the new Android 3.0 OS come out.
While this may seem a bit crazy considering the Android 2.0 just came out, it does somehow make sense. The Taiwan-based Acer wants to make sure that they distinguish themselves from the other leading tablet makers and pry themselves away from the usual Android 2.2 tablets already out in the market.
Wise move? I guess it depends on how Acer can hold back until Android 3.0 does come out.
