It looks like Amazon is on the move as far as stuff to sell is concerned with reports that they too are in the midst of opening their Android Apps Store. According to the Wall Street Journal, Amazon is in the final stages of announcing their online store which was meant to compete against Apple’s App Store and Google’s Android Market.
The scenario is that Amazon will get a 30% fee from sales, similar to that from Apple and Google. Supporting that deal structure, the newspaper said it has seen an “Amazon document for developers.” The document reportedly also includes the condition that an app cannot be offered at a lower price elsewhere.
