After announcing that the recently released Android 2.2 FroYo has covered about 28.7% of the active Google phones in the market, sum it all up and Android is indeed living large with the Android OS.
In fact now it was announced that Android has covered about 70% of Active Android smartphones in the market, figures that are not really that surprising.
When you consider that back in May that most phones had Android 1.5 and 1.6 which accounted for 62% of Android mobiles, you’ll probably agree that phone makers seem to be getting their act together in terms of delivering Google’s latest wares in a timely fashion. And it can only get better!
