An interesting keynote during the IFA 2010 was used by Google CEO Eric Schmidt to announce the coming of Google TV this coming fall. Part of this announcement was the announcement that not only Android phone owners will be able to turn their devices into remotes but iPhones as well.
Additionally, Schmidt has bared that there are 200,000 Android activations made daily, 10,000 short of what Steve Jobs reported earlier last week.
The Google CEO also showed some augmented Street View functionality for Android where users can now navigate via Street Views on their phone in a manner similar to the service on the desktop. They simply have to drag the icon around a 3D representation of the map.
The CEO also showed close to real-time voice-to-text translation running on an Android device.
