Microsoft has filed a patent infringement complaint against Motorola and its class of Android phones. According to the report, Motorola violated nine patents which includes something that would threaten most smartphone platforms.
Though it wasn’t specified, the violation seems to be tied up with the Microsoft Exchange Active Sync, a feature that syncs emails, the calendar and contacts between a mobile phone and a PC. Other patents involve technology that displays signal strength and battery power on phones.
