Motorola unveils a rugged new smartphone called the Motorola Defy. This is now available in Germany via Phone House and carries a retail price of €350. If you want to whittle down that price, you can get it through a 1 year contract deal where you may only pay as little as €1 for it.
As for specs, the Motorola Defy will come with a 3.7” WVGA capacitive touch screen with Gorilla Glass, a 5MP camera, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, DLNA support, GPS, 512MB of RAM, an 800MHz CPU and 2GB of onboard storage that is expandable with microSD cards.
It will run on Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR UI where fast typing is ensured thanks to Swype integration. The rugged smartphone will be available in either black or white on black.
