Labeled as Folio 100, the Toshiba Android Tablet comes out with an Apple-styled dock connector and a similar cradle. The Toshiba Android Tablet (Folio 100), will come with specs that include a hinted dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 250, which should help output 1080p over HDMI as well as downscaled content to its 10” 1024×600 screen.
It will come with an iPad-matching 16GB of internal storage and 3G, Bluetooth and 802.11n Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity options. Toshiba will claim an edge in expansion with both full-size and mini USB ports as well as an SD card slot and a 1.3 MP front camera.
Battery life is not that impressive though. It will just have seven hours of web or video usage compared to Apple’s 10 hours. It is also expected to come with Android 2.2 as well as the Opera Mobile and Flash 10.1 software apps. It is expected to make its debut at the IFA 2010.
