Another Android device is set to come out with an Android 2.2 FroYo update. This is the Motorola Droid X which can reportedly use the said update, regardless if they are rooted or not. The application of the update is easy since users will only have to run the “update.zip” to apply it.
A word of caution. This is not an official release and we all know how other devices like the HTC EVO 4G had their share of problems so if you are the high risk taker, backup your phone first before applying this leaked update.
