While we all know that the Google Nexus One is now a thing of the past, it seems some queer folks from Google and NASA could care less on what they can do with it. This includes shooting the Google Nexus One into space as part of a project.
And the reason for the project? Well it seems they wanted to see if the Google Nexus One could survive in outer space. They tied two handsets on a little rocket and launched everything into space. One of the two handsets had a bit of a problem up on re-entering the earth’s atmosphere but the second managed to capture 2.5 hours of video. Not bad eh?
